Bartlett Pear Exotic Sangria
Exotic flavoured sangria with white wine and bartlett pears.
As Seen In 'Homefront Magazine' Spring 2005 Issue
Beverage (alcoholic)
Spring / Summer
Yield: 1 large pitcher or bowl.
2 bartlett pears pealed, cored and diced
10 lemon wheels
1 bottle of Wyndham Estates Bin 333 Pinot Gris (white)
4oz triple sec
4oz Maceira Royal Brandy
8oz ginger ale
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and let site for four to six hours unrefridgerater, then refridgerate for two hours min.
Use pitcher to serve, fill pitcher with ice and sangria mixture.
Pour into glass wine goblets with crushed ice and a mint sprig.
For additional flavour add extra diced pear as garnish.
