Danielle Casselman

Director of Events & Catering

After successfully completing the event management course at George Brown, Danielle gained further experience at a top hotel and then further propelled her career at one of Toronto’s leading cultural institutions. With a passion for excellent cuisine and genuine hospitality, Danielle started with Eatertainment in the office catering division building long lasting client relationships with her professionalism and drive to succeed. Promoted to Senior Event Manager of The One Eighty venue, Danielle executed countless weddings as well as corporate parties for companies such as Maybelline, Kitchen Aid, Sephora, Air Canada and an athlete-packed Stance event during the NBA All-Star Week.

Danielle is currently our Director of Events & Catering overseeing and executing offsite events across multiple venues.


MeeLee Ryu

Event & Catering Operations Manager

A determination to succeed in the industry – not to mention a love of food and cooking – brought MeeLee to the fast-paced world of Events & Catering with Eatertainment. She has over a decade of hospitality expertise to bring to our team, which is what originally landed her this specially tailored role.

With an impeccable ability to follow-through on every detail of an event agenda, schedule multiple events simultaneously, and oversee various facets of the operations of Eatertainment, MeeLee is the glue that holds our daily operations together. You might say she gets such discipline and focus from her passion for mixed martial arts, golf and snowboarding. One thing is for sure, MeeLee doesn’t mess around when it comes to spread sheets or sports! 


Nicola Samuels

Event Manager – The One Eighty

Having spent over 15 years in the corporate world, 2017 marked a change in career direction for Nicola.  A change dedicated to using her experience and skills as a Project &​ Process Manager in an industry she is passionate about – Event Management & Catering.   Joining the Eatertainment family initially as a Catering Coordinator (now promoted to Event Manager of The One Eighty venue) is like coming home for her since the process of​ curating a magical event for clients is paramount, her background provides a perfect match. Let’s not mention the smell of great tasting food wafting daily from our test kitchen, which she says is an added bonus.

Lais Oliveira

Event Manager

Lais has been working in the service industry since 2015 beginning as a server & bartender although her professionalism quickly garnered her a role as event supervisor of her service staff executing small and intimate parties to large corporate functions with thousands of guests. She has learned the hospitality industry from inside out and this ‘ground up’ approach provides Lais a thorough understanding of the industry. Originally from São Paulo and has studied Social Media Marketing at George Brown College.


Alyssa Seli

Event Manager

Alyssa Seli grew up in the small town of Grimsby, Ontario with a larger than life personality. After working in the Marketing and Communications field for three years and a background in customer service, Alyssa is passionate about helping others while showcasing her creative side as an Events and Catering Manager with the Eatertainment family.  In her spare time Alyssa loves to perform improv and write short skits.


Jessica Folkard

Manager Corporate Catering

Jessica graduated from the Event Management program at George Brown in 2014. She completed a two-month internship with Eatertainment during her studies, learning under the guidance of then Corporate Catering Manager, Danielle Casselman. Jessica’s resiliency and ability to multi-task transitioned her into being offered a full-time position as a Corporate Catering Coordinator post-college, recently developing into a managerial role.

Jessica has a love of baking & scrapbooking, counting Golda’s Kitchen and Michael’s among her favourite stores to splurge.


Sydney Koshowski

Event Manager

Sydney has always been driven by the need to make others feel special! Her boundless positivity and enthusiasm are the hallmarks of her character – not surprising for someone who grew up in ‘Friendly Manitoba’. From makeup school, to early days in retail, to learning the hospitality industry from the ground-up as a hostess and server, she has been loyal to her family at Eatertainment and we are delighted to have her make the leap from the restaurant industry to managing events out of our head office.


Nataly Pineros

Event Administration

Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Nataly brings her larger than life attitude to Eatertainment. From becoming a professional squash player at the age of 15, and holding academic excellence throughout her educational career at Cafam University studying Hospitality and Tourism, she only strives for greatness. 

Nataly continued conquering the food and entertainment industry after obtaining a post-graduate certificate in Sports and Event Marketing at George Brown College, managing restaurants and small-scale events for 5 years. Now she is proudly one of our Event Administrators, living behind the scenes of events where the craziness also resides. 

The event planning industry is similar to a rollercoaster – never knowing what’s to come over the next hill. This feeling is what Nataly loves most about the job – pushing the limits of herself and of the industry only to see the best results!
