As 2025 comes to a close, we’re looking back on a year filled with creativity, collaboration, and unforgettable events. From major industry milestones to bold culinary ideas, this year pushed us forward in exciting ways, and most importantly, it reminded us why we love what we do. These five moments captured the energy, creativity, and growth of Eatertainment in 2025.
1. CSE Live 2025: Pushing Experiential Boundaries
To start the year strong, we were proud to be one of the sponsors and caterers for CSE Live 2025. This one-of-a-kind festival is dedicated to redefining experiential events in Canada. As a result, it brought together some of the most creative minds in the industry.
Throughout the event, our team focused on delivering food that matched the energy and innovation of the experience. Every detail mattered. From presentation to flavour, each bite was designed to spark conversation. Overall, it was inspiring to be part of an event that celebrates what’s next in live experiences. 2. Caterer of the Year At The 2025 Canadian Special Events Awards
One of the most meaningful moments of the year was winning Caterer of the Year at the 2025 Canadian Special Events Awards. This honour meant the world to us. It recognized the passion, precision, and teamwork that drives Eatertainment every day.
Above all, this win belongs to our incredible chefs and crew. Their creativity and dedication continue to raise the bar. Seeing their reactions in the moment made this achievement even more special. It was surely a proud night for the entire Eatertainment family. Check out how our chefs celebrated this moment.
3. Introducing Our Monthly Chef’s Picks Of 2025
This year, we also launched our monthly Chef’s Picks Series. Each month, our chefs curated a selection of seasonal dishes that highlighted flavour, technique, and creativity. This gave us a new way to showcase what inspires our kitchen team.
Some standout favourites quickly stole the spotlight. The Minestrone Pearl reimagined a classic soup into a jewel-like bite. It featured fine vegetable brunoise, smoked sea salt, and basil oil. Meanwhile, the Apple Smoked Heartee Mushrooms delivered deep, savoury flavour with Ontario oyster mushrooms, truffle potato pave, and kale pesto. And finally, the Mocha Mousse Marshmallow brought dessert drama. Inspired by Pantone’s Colour of the Year, it paired mocha marshmallow with creamy mousse and espresso accents.

4. 2025 Summer at the Docks
As summer arrived, we headed to the waterfront. We teamed up with The Docks Driving Range to offer customizable event packages that were perfect for corporate outings, team socials, and private celebrations.
The setting was relaxed, yet energetic. Because of that, it created the ideal backdrop for great food and great company. Throughout the season, we loved seeing guests connect, unwind, and celebrate by the water. Check out some of the highlights from this eventful summer.
5. Events That Defined 2025
2025 was filled with memorable events that challenged us creatively. One highlight was celebrating 20 Years of YouTube. It was an honour to cater such a major milestone. The menu featured a Taco station, Bao station, and canapés like Lobster Salad Cones and Sweet and Sour Chicken.
Another standout was Future of EY. Here, we truly brought the future to the table. We designed a bespoke menu to match four themed rooms. The Chicken Lollipop Tree quickly became a crowd favourite.
We also had the pleasure of catering the Heda TIFF After-Party at The Pearl, where we collaborated with Bespoke Boheme to bring the event to life. Our culinary program was designed to complement the elegance and creativity of the evening, featuring a curated grazing station, circulating canapés, and a caviar station that added a refined finishing touch. Together, every element worked in harmony, creating a sophisticated atmosphere that felt perfectly suited to a TIFF celebration.
Looking back, we’re incredibly grateful for every collaboration, celebration, and creative challenge that shaped 2025. Each event pushed us to think differently, refine our craft, and continue raising the bar for unforgettable experiences. As we turn our focus to 2026, we’re excited about what’s next and the moments still waiting to be created.
