Auditorium

The Roy Thomson Hall Auditorium is available to rent for digital and live events. The Hall’s prime location and transformative abilities make it the venue of choice for a wide range of rental activities from promoters and corporate clients, to community and education-sector events. Capacity: Theatre 2630, Cocktail: 200 (on stage), Dinner: 120 (on stage).

Lobby Spaces

The North and South Lobbies are separate but connected spaces. The lobbies wrap around the outside of the auditorium, surfacing the perimeter of the building. Both lobbies feature built-in platforms and are equipped to accommodate a variety of AV set-ups, including easy connection to our Content Capture Suite. This space has been utilized for film shoots, receptions, tradeshows, general meetings and press conferences among other styles of events. Capacity: Theatre: 750, Cocktail: 1500, Dinner: 500.

Wine Bar

The Lounge is a unique space within the lobbies of Roy Thomson Hall. The room is tucked away behind simple but elegant wall panels, which can open up for additional capacity. This space has been utilized for tastings, small receptions and meet and greets among other styles of events. Capacity: 50

Patio

The Patio is equipped with a floating stage for ‘plug and play’ production set-up. (A tent is required for live performances). In case of inclement weather there is a built-in awning system to provide some protection or we can move your event indoors to the Lobby.
This space has been utilized for receptions, dinners, staff B-B-Q’s, performances and weddings. Capacity: Theatre: 450, Cocktail: 700, Dinner: 300.
