Toronto Reference Library
Toronto Reference Library
Description
Toronto Public Library unique venues offer premium cultural experiences, housed in beautiful buildings and distinctive spaces, in desirable, easy-to-access locations across the city.
Here are some details of just a couple of our favourites out of the selection:
The Bram & Bluma Appel Salon
A literary and cultural hotspot with a distinctive contemporary design. This versatile and engaging space is where the library mounts its large-scale high-profile literary and cultural programs. Flooded with natural light, the Appel Salon offers a contemporary modular design and is comprised of three rooms which can be used separately or in combination. Additional features include two outdoor terraces, a full catering kitchen, a built-in bar and private washrooms. Distinctive, well-appointed finishes create a welcoming special event backdrop.
Toronto Reference Library Level One
With an extraordinary atrium above, level one of the Toronto Reference Library is a one-of-a-kind modern cathedral. An open-concept layout, a central stage and flexible seating combine to create the perfect backdrop for large-scale special events. Prominent design elements include serpentine wooden counters, digital display walls and a curved glass browsery creating transparency with the urban landscape.
